Having survived a point-blank shrapnel impact to the head from an exploding .38 hollow point in a fire pile, treated at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL, and later overcoming a documented near-fatal blood infection in Birmingham, Alabama, I know my life was spared for a single purpose. Still Standing Christianity exists to give voice to God's sustaining power, anchor those fighting for their own survival, and point directly to recovery and eternal hope.
